Step 1. Install GIVE A RING from Google Play. Open the app and enter your Russian mobile number. Tap Register if you're new.

Step 2. Enter the SMS verification code.

Step 3. To call Russian numbers, verify your identity with a selfie and Russian passport photo (law №126-FZ). Skip if calling outside Russia only.

Step 4. Top up your balance via SBP or bank card.

Step 5. Activate a Moscow number for ₽100/month to call Russian numbers. Incoming calls and activation are free.

Step 6. You're ready! Call rate is shown under the dialed number.
The app will request the following permissions: - Make and manage phone calls - Record audio - Send notifications - Use the camera (for identification per law) - Access nearby devices (if using Bluetooth headphones) You must allow the first four to make calls with the app.
Yes, if you are planning to call Russian numbers, your identity has to be verified with a selfie and a Russian passport picture, per law №126-FZ. If you are planning to call outside of Russia, no Russian passport and ID verification is required.

Yes, incoming calls to your Moscow number are free.
You need a Russian mobile phone number to register in the app. Download Give a Ring from Google Play, open it, enter your Russian mobile number, and enter the SMS verification code.
Yes, calls between Give a Ring app users are completely free. To make a free call, open the Contacts section and choose the person you want to call. If they are also registered in Give a Ring, you'll see a green icon with two phone receivers next to their name. Tap it to start your free call.
